The Commission in its Notifications/Advertisement Nos.258 and 265 published in “The Hindu” and ‘Dhina Thanthi” dated 30.12.2010 and 08.02.2011 respectively has invited applications for direct recruitment to the posts included in Combined Subordinate Services Examination-I.
In continuation of the said Notifications/Advertisements, applications are invited for the following additional posts included in Combined Subordinate Services Examination-I (Examination/Service Code No.004) upto 5.45 p.m. on 21.06.2011.

Vacancy Details:

Name of the Post : Assistant Section Officer (Other than Law and Finance Departments)
  • No. of vacancies: 281
  • Scale of Pay : Rs.9300-34800+ Grade Pay Rs.4600/-.(PB2)
  • Service: Tamil Nadu Secretariat Service
  • Post Code: 1072
  • Educational Qualification: A Master’s degree or a Bachelor’s degree and BGL degree or a Bachelor’s degree with First class in any one of the parts. Provided that in case of a candidate belonging to SC, SC A), ST, MBC/DC, BC(other than BCM), BC(M) it shall be sufficient if he/she holds a Bachelor’s degree.
Name of the Post : Accountant in the Treasuries and Accounts Department
  • No. of vacancies: 485
  • Scale of Pay : Rs.5200-20200+ Grade Pay Rs.2800/- (PB1)
  • Service: Tamil Nadu Ministerial Service
  • Post Code: 1072
  • Educational Qualification: Must hold the Degree of B.A., B.Sc.,or B.Com., Other things being equal, preference shall be given to a person who holds a degree in Commerce.
Name of the Post : Assistant in RD & PR Department

  • Scale of Pay : Rs.5200-20200+ Grade Pay Rs.2800/- (PB1)

Note:

Candidates who have already applied in response to the Commission’s  Notifications/ Advertisement Nos.258 and 265 for recruitment to the posts included in  Combined Subordinate Services Examination-I, including those whose applications have  been received belatedly need not apply again with reference to this Supplemental  Notification as they will be considered, as having applied for these posts also.  Candidates should send their applications to the Controller of Examinations, Tamil Nadu  Public Service Commission, No.1 Greams Road, Commercial Taxes Office Annexe  Building, Chennai-600 006 well in advance so as to reach the Commission’s office on or  before 5.45 p.m. on 21.06.2011. The facility of applying Online will be closed on  19.06.2011 at 5.45 p.m.
